Account Executive

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Executive with one of our Key clients within the Insurance market.

Job Purpose:

Produces revenue through sales to new and existing clients of moderate complexity. Primarily focused on providing financial advice to existing clients, this role involves offering risk, superannuation, and investment guidance/intelligence. 

Your Role:

Accountable for maximizing retention and growth of client base, role incumbent(s) will liaise with brokers to obtain referrals and consult with clients according to their needs, retaining them as clients.

Associated responsibilities include; preparation of statements of advice-from fact find to presentation, managing databases/files to ensure compliance with local standards, planning and delivering client marketing activities, and coaching Client Service staff on generation of leads.

Incumbents may provide direction and training to more junior staff.

Experienced sole contributor.

Has working knowledge and experience in own discipline.

Will support on key projects and may lead smaller projects.

Works with a large degree of autonomy under the instruction of more senior staff.

Your Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Solid previous experience in a similar role

Financial Planning degree preferable

Strong negotiation/interpersonal skills for ensuring productive relationships.

High attention to detail.
