SME Account Handler What do we want? We are looking for an experienced account handler to support the transaction of existing and new business within our newly created SME team On a foundation of talented, passionate and fulfilled individuals, my client is driven by its people and focused on innovation within the insurance industry. My client is an independent and owner managed, Chartered Insurance Broker, with a vibrant team of insurance professionals. We are looking for someone with a genuine client focus to support the renewal, retention and day to day management of existing clients, providing a high level of customer service and demonstrating the professionalism for which my client is renowned. In addition the individual should have the appropriate knowledge to convert generated SME new business opportunities whilst also being alive to cross sell and add on opportunities within allocated cases. A key component of the role involves demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to build a rapport with different client types over the telephone. The role also involves providing administration support to colleagues and ensuring the team work together to handle allocated cases. You will need to be a strong self-starter with a proven ability to manage your own workload and work as part of a close knit team You should have a passion for delighting customers and take pride in delivering high quality solutions for your customers. What we need: -experienced account handler across a range of business classes -the skill to prioritise and organise workflow and working to deadlines -excellent communication skills – knowledge of industry issues and development -ability to work as part of a team and form strong relationships with colleagues -a passionate customer advocate -experience and confidence in using computer systems and software What would be beneficial: -Experience using Acturis Insurance Software -Existing insurer SME product knowledge – CII qualification
